Green Collect Memberships provide the following opportunities for active involvement
in achieving sustainable social and environmental outcomes:
Regular Collection Service

- bottle tops (steel, plastic, aluminium)
Promoting Sustainability
- Ongoing research into best practice in reuse and recycling for additional products
- Quarterly report outlining your environmental and social contribution and benefits to the community
- Staff presentation: sustainable workplace practices, environmental innovation and community engagement
- Endorsement of your business on Green Collect's website, promotional material
and Small Business/community events
- Staff profile and opportunity to engage with Green Collect staff member collecting from your business
Real Outcomes
- Reduce Landfill. Your business will reduce its impact on the environment by reducing the amount of waste ending up in landfill
- New Research. Green Collect is committed to zero waste to landfill and is continually researching best practice options in reuse and recycling
- Supportive Employment. Your business will be assisting in the creation of regular and supportive employment for people who have faced issues such as homelessness and social isolation.
- Community Engagement. Participation in community partnership and network
of businesses working collaboratively to support and influence Green Collect's
work in the community
- Innovation. Development of innovative solutions to issues of sustainability

If your organisation would like to support Green Collect through Membership
or donation, please complete the membership
form and send through form and payment.
When you have submitted your details:
- One of our team will contact you to discuss your specific needs
- We will provide you with the required number of recycling bins
- We will organise a regular collection time and introduce you to your designated
collector
- We will provide you with informational literature for other employees in
your organization
A tax invoice/receipt will be provided. Donations above $2 to Green Collect
are Tax Deductible.
Membership structure
Membership has two fee components - an annual membership fee and a service
fee charged per kilogram for units collected. Annual membership fee covers overheads
and staff wages. Per kilogram service fee covers the transportation and processing
of items collected.
You will receive:
- Regular collections. CBD collections occur every three weeks, non CBD collections
occur monthly or as arranged to suit member needs
- Quarterly reports highlighting kg of components collected
- Quarterly invoices for service fee per kilogram for units collected
> Annual Membership Fee:
- Corporate and Government Membership – $1,200
- Schools Membership – from $300 to $1,200 depending on size and situation
- Small Business and Community Group Membership - $300
(all are GST inclusive)
> Service Fee:
For collection, processing and recycling
- $2 per kg for the following items
- mobile phones & accessories
- DVDs & CDs
- floppy disks, video cassettes
- printer cartridges
- natural and synthetic corks
- small e-waste components, such as keyboards and mice.
(For large e-waste items, collection needs to be booked in advance - see E-waste
service)
- $4 per kg for the following items
- batteries, including alkaline, lithium, sealed-lead, other
