Drug Uses
Cipro is used for treatment of bacterial infections. It can also be used to prevent or slow anthrax after exposure.
How Taken
Take Cipro with a full glass of water as suggested by your doctor. Use Cipro with or without a meal. It is recommended to drink extra fluids while taking Cipro. If you also take any products containing magnesium, aluminum, calcium, iron, or zinc (eg, vitamins/minerals, antacids), didanosine, sucralfate, or bismuth subsalicylate, don't take them within six hours before or 2 hours after taking Cipro. To clear up your infection completely, take Cipro for the full course of treatment. Keep taking it even if you feel better in a few days.

Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you react to this pill. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, consult your doctor. This product should be used only by the patient for whom it has been recommended. Don't take less or more or take it more often than recommended by your doctor.
