Drug Uses
Paracetamol is used for treatment of mild to medium pain due to headache, muscle aches, backache, joint pain, arthritis, the common cold, flu, toothache, teething pain and menstrual cramps. Paracetamol also decreases fever in adults and children. This medication is often used in patients who cannot take anti–inflammatory (e.g. due to stomach ulcer), as it is gentle on the stomach.
How Taken
Take Paracetamol exactly as directed by your doctor. Do not exceed the ordered dosage as it can be very dangerous and life threatening.
More Information
Paracetamol may cause dizziness. These effects can worsen if Paracetamol is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Use Paracetamol with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you respond to this drug. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, visit your doctor. This product should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
