Drug Uses
Zithromax is used for curing of infections caused by certain bacteria. It can also be used for other situations as recommended by your physician.
How Taken
Take Zithromax as advised by your physician. To clear up your infection completely, take Macrobid for the full course of curing. Keep using it even if you feel better in a few days. Failure to do so can decrease the effectiveness of this treatment and may increase the risk that the bacteria will no longer sensitive to Zithromax and will not be able to be treated by this or certain other antibacterial pills in the future.
Additional Information
Zithromax can cause drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, or lightheadedness. These effects may worsen if Zithromax is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Zithromax with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you react to this product. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, call your physician. This medicine should be used only by the patient for whom it has been recommended. Don't take less or more or take it more often than recommended by your doctor.
