Drug Uses
Zithromax is used for healing of infections caused by certain bacteria. It may also be used for other situations as prescribed by your physician.
How Taken
Use Zithromax as advised by your physician. To clear up your infection completely, take Macrobid for the full course of treatment. Keep using it even if you feel better in a few days. Failure to do so may decrease the effectiveness of this healing and may increase the risk that the bacteria will no longer sensitive to Zithromax and will not be able to be treated by this or certain other antibacterial products in the future.
More Information
Zithromax can cause drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, or lightheadedness. These effects can worsen if Zithromax is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Take Zithromax with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly negative tasks until you know how you respond to this product. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, ask your physician. This medicine should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than suggested by your doctor.
